I’ve talked about using the MSGEQ7 Spectrum Analyzer chip in several columns over the years, but I’m still receiving questions, so I thought it might be a good idea to gather all of the pertinent information together into one place. A computer running a program written in Python and using the libraries, Numpy, Scipy, Matplotlib, and Pyserial is the FFT spectrum analyzer. But more on that below. What is it that I am missing? Any help will be appreciated.
